Celemony Melodyne Studio 5.1.1 is a program with which you can edit audio in a wider variety of musical styles than ever expected. At Melodyne, you work with notes, not mindless waveforms. You’ll see not only where the music gets louder or quieter, but also where the notes start to pick up and what tone of voice is deceptive. Melodyne Studio allows you to work with recorded monophonic audio data in a form familiar to musicians – editing and changing the sound is done by directly adjusting the musical characteristics and melody of the audio.
Namely, the program reads the original mono audio material, analyzes it, on the basis of that the program presents audio data in the form of parts (samples) of this material which are spread over the appropriate tone (after previously marking the rhythm grid). Now the user can take individual parts of the audio and raise / lower them along the stave, which will be reflected in the tonality – thereby, the notes are edited. In the same way, you can change the duration of the audible part (time span), as well as the formant composition, amplitude and other characteristics. This program allows you to work with 24 audio tracks simultaneously. It should be noted the very high quality of the voice processing algorithm. Using this program can be very useful, for example when correcting vocals.
